For lovers of modern song, Home Villebon receives for his next performance the singer Francis October, accompanied by his choir Multi-instrumentalist-Michèle Simard Audrey . The duo will offer a show that combines dance rhythms and soaring romanticism.
passion for words and notes, October Francis did in the melodies on texts well put together. Connected to the sincerity and emotion, he gives a rather modern atmosphere to his songs. His eclectic career has made him known sideman with artists such Louise Forestier, Catherine Major , Alfa Rococo and The Tireux of Rocks.
Francis October was Francouvertes finalist in 2009 and Song Festival in Granby in 2007. Nominated in the category French songwriter of the year Canadian Folk Music Awards for 2010 and Félix-Leclerc of Francofolies Montreal , Francis October gaining in popularity! Besides, he returned from France where he participated in Astaffort Meetings, meetings attended by singer-songwriters of the Francophonie to share and create.
In the galleries of the House Villebon, the artist Chantal Lagacé exhibited his works until 19 December 2010. The exhibition is open to the public every Sunday from 13h to 17h.
