Thursday, February 24 at 19:30 Villebon House presents a show of original compositions, tunes and traditional songs, strongly tinged music from Quebec and Europe.
The release of their debut album The Wind is still freight ... little matter which side it comes! in 2001, was remarkable on many levels. First, this disc was the first record of the specialty catalog of the young trad record company Wheels & Bows , they are the founders. This output was conducted in 2002 at birth the famous quartet Le Vent du Nord which won several awards for their albums and shows, including a JUNO trad album for 2004.
By signing a second album A little above it a little , Nicolas Boulerice vocals, hurdy-gurdy, accordion, piano and Olivier Demers fiddle, foot percussion, mandolin, guitar and singing this duo highlights 10 years of friendship, pleasure and experimentation.
